What happens after the application deadline expiration date?
The expiration of the application marks the beginning of Universität Hamburg's admission procedure. Acceptance and rejection letters are sent out as soon as the processing of all admission applications is completed.
I missed the application period! Can I still be admitted?
Remaining program vacancies after the admission period will be published under: www.uni-hamburg.de/restplaetze. Late placement for available spaces is your only option to get into a program outside the official application period. Everybody can participate, regardless of any prior applications.
How to find out whether you have been accepted
After the application deadline you should check your STiNE account, so you won't miss the publication of the acceptance letters.

On the indicated dates we will email the result of the admission procedure to the email address stated in your online application. You can also find your acceptance or rejection letter in your STiNE account under "documents."
You will need your personal access data. Please remember that you had to change your original password when logging in for the first time. Thus, the original password emailed to you is no longer valid. Please contact STiNE line in case you encounter any problems in accessing your account.
