Hamburg Metropolitan Region

The Hamburg Metropolitan Region features lot of water, nature, and a lot of green spaces—as well as big-city living, culture, and clubs. The Hanseatic city is a gateway to the world, giving the University of Hamburg the benefits of being both strongly moored in its city while also being closely networked with the rest of the world.

“Good balance between work and family life“

At the University of Hamburg, I like that participation in continuing education is really promoted, and I have been able to consistently take on news areas of responsibility. As a parent, I particularly value the ability to balance work and family commitments.

“Deeper insights into the field of academia”

I face new challenges every day and learn new, interesting technical solutions. For me, collaborating with a lot of nice people and getting a deeper insight into the academic field sets working at the University of Hamburg apart.
