Every summer semester, Universität Hamburg and the Studienkolleg Hamburg offer international prospective students a pre-semester preparatory course to prepare them for their program.

You can pursue doctoral studies by setting up a tailored program or as part of an established doctoral program. The following pages contain introductory information about planning your doctoral studies.

Students from our partner universities can study for one or two semesters at Universität Hamburg. Just apply through the ERASMUS program, the direct exchange program or the institutional exchange programs.
