From 18 to 20 September 2025, the University of Hamburg will host the Campus Meets Community (CmC) Festival: Working Together for a Sustainable Society.
Under the motto ‘Response-Ability’, the festival aims to promote partnerships between universities and (civil) society and to develop synergies that strengthen the social relevance of universities. To this end, the festival seeks to bring together scientists, students, and actors from (civil) society to jointly develop innovative approaches to the pressing social and ecological challenges of our time.
The CmC Festival kicks off with the annual conference of the Hochschulnetzwerks Bildung durch Verantwortung (HBdV), where co-creative teaching methods, transdisciplinary research approaches and practice-oriented cooperation projects can be presented.
For faculty members, it offers an opportunity to showcase their own transfer-oriented activities, expand their network in science and practice, and gain new inspiration for exciting research and teaching collaborations.
More information about the festival and the call for papers can be found at https://www.cmc-festival.de/.
Contributions can be submitted until 12 January 2025.
The festival is organized in cooperation between the Forschungsbüro für Soziale Innovation (ROSI) of the WiSo Faculty, the Transfer Agency of the UHH and the Aktivoli Landesnetzwerk e.V.
