Dialogue Forums
Locally based dialogue forums address concrete issues and areas of application of sustainable development and experiment with targeted formats and methods. They combine classic discursive methods (panel discussions, open spaces, world cafés, etc.) with other forms of interaction, experience and joint action. A tailor-made mix of methods for each forum is designed to appeal to different stakeholder groups and incorporate diverse forms of expertise. The events can take place in a wide variety of locations; what is important is that they are anchored to a specific, locally relevant topic, which is examined from different and quite controversial angles.
The events are aimed at the general public, but specifically involve students, academic and civil society experts as well as interested and concerned groups (e.g. residents, users, citizens, associations, etc.). A detailed documentation of the process and outcomes is made publicly available afterwards, with the aim of fostering long-term or project-based collaborations.
If you are interested in holding a dialogue forum, please get in touch with us so that we can discuss the feasibility together.
