Expertise

We support and facilitate transfer projects and research practice partnerships with the aim of embedding engagement and knowledge transfer as vital components of excellent research, creating processes that benefit all involved parties. Working with researchers from suitable initiatives and clusters, our goal is to identify relevant stakeholders, understand discipline-specific requirements, and develop customized transdisciplinary methods to strengthen societal relevance and multidirectional knowledge transfer. Efforts in this area include individual counselling of researchers, co-application in collaborative research ventures and support projects funded by the Knowledge Exchange Fund. We take on coordinating and curatorial tasks for relevant conferences, panels or other important events that stimulate co-creation and engagement at the University of Hamburg, promote exchange and reflexivity and increase their visibility within the broader professional community.
