At this year’s Campus Festival, the Co-Creation & Engagement Center (the University of Hamburg’s knowledge transfer agency) cooperated with two important local partners from the Grindel district: MARKK and Grindel e.V.
At MARKK – Museum am Rothenbaum: Cultures and Arts of the World, the exhibition “A Thousand Pots – What Food Means to Us” can be visited from 12 December 2024 until the end of May 2025. An interactive booth at the Campus Festival offered a (quite literally) tangible preview of the exhibition.
Grindel e.V. was also represented. Its members include local business owners, craftspeople, restaurateurs, and freelancers from the immediate neighbourhood, Hamburg’s Grindel district. The association provided information about past and upcoming activities. During the festival, the President of the University of Hamburg, Prof. Dr Hauke Heekeren, also visited the booth and engaged in conversation with the team of the knowledge transfer agency and its cooperation partners.
More impressions from the Campus Festival can be found in the University of Hamburg Newsroom.
