Bachelor's teacher training self-assessment
When applying for a bachelor’s in teacher training program, you must upload proof that you took part in an anonymous self-assessment test. The test results have no impact on selection when university places are allocated at Universität Hamburg. We recommend taking the Career Counselling for Teachers (CCT) self-assessment test or, if you plan to apply to a teacher training program in primary education, completing the expectations checklist for primary education teacher training programs (Erwartungscheck Grundschullehramt) offered by the Faculty of Educational Science at Universität Hamburg (available as of mid-July).
To participate in the CCT self-assessment test, you must proceed as follows:
- Open the website (http://www.cct-germany.de) and click on Studieninteressierte (Prospective students).
- Go to Geführte Touren (Guided tours) in the menu bar at the top and select Tour 1: Soll ich ein Lehrerstudium beginnen? (Should I begin a teaching degree?). In addition to the code you selected, please also enter the group name here (“Hamburg”).
- After you completed the test, you can download a certificate of participation. Subsequently, you can upload it when you apply online.
