The CampusCenter is the main service point in the Department of Studies and Teaching. All of the services provided by the sections Services for Students, Center for Academic Advising and Psychological Counseling, and Quality Management and Legal Affairs (Only in German) are located under the one roof.
Our new concept, which centralizes the services we provide, aims to serve students better by streamlining information channels, offering longer office hours, and providing additional services.
The ServicePoint and ServiceTelephone
The ServicePoint and the ServiceTelephon are the first points of contact for students and prospective students wishing to visit the Campus Center, the Services for Students, or the Center for Academic Advising and Psychological Counseling.
Center for Academic Advising and Psychological Counseling
The Center for Academic Advising and Psychological Counseling at the Campus Center can provide prospective and enrolled students with information and guidance in all matters related to applying and studying.
Application, Admission and Student Affairs
The Application, Admission and Student Affairs team administers the application and admission procedures, supervises the student administration and offers advice for applicants and students. The team is thus a central service facility for applicants and students of Universität Hamburg.
Quality Management and Legal Affairs
The Section for Quality Management and Legal Affairs is a service for all members of the University concerned with teaching and studies, including, of course, students. Prospective students and applicants may also contact us with any questions or concerns about quality and legal issues.
Office of Affairs for Students with Disabilities or Chronic Diseases
This office advises and supports students with long-term impairments (e.g., due to chronic diseases) in matters related to preparing for, applying for, and studying on a program.
During lecture periods, Study Abroad and Exchange in the Department of International Affairs offers weekly advising sessions and monthly information sessions to students in the Campus-Center.
Additional office hours and individual advising take place in Mittelweg 177.
Scholarship programs for international students
For degree seeking international students enrolled at Universität Hamburg with particularly good academic achievements or in need of degree completion funding the Department of International Affairs offers weekly advising during lecture periods at the Campus-Center.
The Department of International Affairs offers advice and support to international students, whether they have questions about residential, social, or personal issues.
