Trilateral staff development and exchange program NW-SU-UHH
Learning with and from each other – across three continents
The strategic partners Northwestern University (NW), Stellenbosch University (SU) and Universität Hamburg (UHH) are initiating a trilateral staff exchange program for their administrative staff to learn with and from each other.
The program is designed to run for three years, piloting in 2022. In each year, one of the partners will host a weeklong training for participants from all three partner institutions on a specific topic. The selection of topics is based on the particular expertise of the hosting institution as well as the transfer opportunities for the partners.
The goal of the program is to learn new skills and gain international experience together as well as to encourage personal and professional development.
Participants from university administration whose area of work is related to the respective program topic offered are welcome to apply for the program. A new call for application is published every year.
2022: „Inclusive International Competencies“ at Stellenbosch University
This year’s program will be hosted by Stellenbosch University and is focusing on „Inclusive International Competencies“.
The goal is an intensive discussion of the topics of intercultural competencies and inclusion, as well as a joint exchange on internationalization within different areas of work at universities. The topics will be introduced with the help of best practice examples from Stellenbosch University and will be deepened in joint discussions.
