Sustainability in Motion—Experience, Discourse, and Co-Creation

The University of Hamburg’s new experimental format on sustainability, university education, and transformative learning spaces in the Hamburger Klimaschutzstiftung

As part of the Hamburg Sustainability Week, , the University of Hamburg and the Hamburger Klimaschutzstiftung are jointly organizing a new event on 3 July 2026: Sustainability in Motion—Experience, Discourse, and Co-Creation.

The event is an open sustainability plenum that will incorporate members of other Hamburg universities. The core idea is that sustainability is not merely a topic to discuss and analyze but a critical, communal, and tangible process for shaping the world. 

The event is intended create opportunities for combining experience, criticism, and co-creation to surface new ideas for sustainable university development.
