Who We Are
The "Lab for Hybrid Learning Spaces" is implemented in collaboration with several units at the University of Hamburg:
- The Office for Digital Teaching of the Faculty of Education.
- The Office for Digitalization in Teaching of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Natural Sciences.
- The Campus Management Department of the Central Administration.
Each of these units is represented by a responsible person, the so-called Product Owner. The three Product Owner, together with project coordination and two media technicians, lead and takes responsibility for the project's outcomes. Additionally, the Media Competence Center of the Regional Computing Center (RRZ) plays an important role. It is significantly involved in the technical development and is responsible for planning the future equipment of the teaching rooms.

- Didactics & Conceptualization: Supported by the Faculty of Education, this area focuses on the design of teaching formats and spatial planning.
- Technical Development & Testing: Managed by the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Natural Sciences (MIN), this area includes the development and testing of new technical solutions that support hybrid learning environments.
- Requirements & Processes: Supported by Campus Management, this area involves collecting and analyzing user requirements. It also aims to optimize processes for redesigning or establishing new teaching and learning spaces.
- Operations & Standards: The Media Competence Center is responsible for setting and implementing technical standards and ensuring the sustainable functionality of technical equipment in learning rooms.
