The MSc in Interdisciplinary Public and Nonprofit Studies focuses on the business, economic, political scientific, legal, and sociological challenges and particularities of the public and nonprofit sector. The curriculum has a clear interdisciplinary emphasis, deriving from the program’s concentration on the interactions between these different areas. Students gain insights into research activities in the public and nonprofit sector as well as into workplace practice. The degree program therefore contributes to the University’s overall goals of:
- educating responsible individuals by developing professional expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to engage in critical discourse based on academic principles; and
- supporting young academics in the field of public and/or nonprofit research.
