System accreditation

Universität Hamburg has established a quality assurance system for its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The system will be accredited between 2019 and 2022 (system accreditation).

Unlike program accreditation, which applies to individual degree programs, successful system accreditation will grant Universität Hamburg the right to self-accreditation. This means that all degree programs that have passed the quality assurance system and have been certified internally will effectively be accredited and carry the seal of the Accreditation Council.
