Eligibility
To participate in our programs, you must be employed at the University of Hamburg and/or pursuing a doctorate there.
Advising
If you do not know exactly what you wish to learn, just contact us for an informal chat. Together, we will determine your language needs and discuss the various options. If desired, you can also take a placement test.
Course Offerings
We regulary offer language courses on a variety of topics, including:
- Communication in veryday university life, e.g., writing emails, making phone calls, small talk
- Academic writig
- Giving presentations and moderating discussions
Upon request, we also design courses for the faculties and institutes.
Individual language learning
Would you like to learn German or English individually or prepare for a specific situation (e.g., a talk)? We are happy to make an offer for individual training or coaching.
