Rund um Ihren Start an der UHH und in Hamburg

Appointment procedure: As soon as you accept our appointment offer, the University will initiate the professorial appointment process. Human Resources will send you a request to send specific documents. HR Services will also tell you what proof you are required to submit to meet the health requirements. It takes about 3 months to complete the appointment process, at the end of which you will receive your appointment certificate.
B-Kennung (uni username): You will receive a personal username upon accepting the appointment and signing the appointment agreements and documents. This allows you to access central IT services: email, Wi-Fi, STiNE, UHH-Share and Sharepoint.
Hiring staff: Human Resources has put together the information on hiring staff.
Keep track of your costs: Your faculty administration—faculty manager, department manager, or financial management is always your first port of call.
