E-Learning
Since opening up to the world in the 1980s, the People's Republic of China has experienced rapid economic development as well as in the areas of science and technology. Today, it is the world's second-largest economy and shapes global politics. In addition, it is now also a world leader in many key scientific disciplines due to its long-term and ambitious science and technology policy and vigorous international academic exchange.
In view of this development and the opportunities and challenges it presents, a basic knowledge of China has become increasingly important for people from all backgrounds and disciplines, be they students, researchers, teachers or administrators.
The e-learning module Scientific Cooperation with China, developed by HNC³, provides such basic knowledge in easily accessible form. In around 90 minutes it conveys basic facts about China’s science system, practical tips for stays in China, and outlines legal aspects of academic cooperation among other topics. With this knowledge, participants can better assess China-related issues and research, and increase their China-related expertise.
