How do I register for an event?

Please register for our events online via the UHH JOIN booking app.
To do so, you’ll need to create a one-time account on the platform. After registering, you can view and manage all your bookings directly via your profile.

Students and members of Universität Hamburg can simply use their B-Kennung to register. All other participants only need an email address and a self-chosen password. Graduates should make sure to select Universität Hamburg when asked for their institution, as some workshops are limited to students and graduates of Universität Hamburg.

Important note: A few months after graduation, your B-Kennung will be deleted by the university’s computing center. Please make sure to disconnect your JOIN account from the B-Kennung in time via your profile settings on UHH JOIN.
You can find more information on how to use UHH JOIN on their website. Your personal data is collected solely for the purpose of organizing the events and is stored until the end of the respective semester.

Binding Participation

Please register only if you can ensure binding participation for the entire course of the event.

Who Can Participate?

Please be sure to observe the target group for each event:

Students and graduates of the University of Hamburg:
Our programs are tailored to students and graduates of the University of Hamburg.

Open to everyone interested:
Some events are open to all, regardless of student or graduate status – for example, the Founders’ Breakfast.

All of our programs are free of charge.

Unfortunately, the premises at Rothenbaumchaussee 19 are not barrier-free. Please make use of our online or hybrid event formats instead.

Is there a booking limit?

In the field of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, students and graduates of the University of Hamburg may attend as many events as they wish, as long as there are still places available.

How can I cancel my registration for an event?

If you are unable to attend a registration-required event for important reasons, please cancel your participation as soon as possible using one of the following options:

Cancel online yourself:
With your registration confirmation email, you will receive a link that allows you to cancel your registration online up until 12:00 noon on the previous working day. This way, your spot can be offered to someone on the waiting list. Please keep your confirmation email until the day of the event.

Short-notice cancellations:
For cancellations at shorter notice (e.g. due to illness) or if you no longer have the confirmation email, please cancel via email.

No-shows and possible exclusion:
We work with relatively small groups, so unoccupied seats (due to no cancellation or very late cancellations) are frustrating for our team, the workshop leaders, and especially for those on the waiting list. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, we kindly ask you to always cancel if you are unable to attend. Please note that unexcused absences may result in exclusion from future registration-required events.

Will I receive a confirmation of participation?

After registering, you will receive a registration confirmation sent to the email address you provided, which also serves as your participation ticket.
After successfully completing the workshop, you will also receive a certificate of participation.
