Mental health
Mental health has just as much influence on our well-being as physical health. This is because mental health not only refers to the absence of mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, and burnout, but also encompasses a variety of other factors such as satisfaction with studies and work, individual resources, belonging in society, and a balanced lifestyle.
As part of the Healthy Campus program, we offer a wide range of services to stabilize, promote, and maintain mental health. In addition to a range of information on the subject, we offer events, workshops, and a variety of counseling services that can provide support for individual problems and stress.
Healthy Campus in the podcast studio
Healthy Campus visited the podcast studio to discuss mindfulness during university studies. The interview will be featured in the ‘Mindfulness’ module of the new Moodle self-study course ‘Studying in Balance’ by Prof. Dr Kira Weber.
The course covers topics relating to mental health, resilience and coping with challenges in everyday student life as well as in personal life. In addition to the “Mindfulness” module, the course covers other topics such as “Non-violent Communication”, “Emotion Regulation” and “Goal Setting”.
The exact start date of the course has not yet been confirmed. We will announce it on our channels as soon as the course is available.
The full interview can be viewed here (german). Perhaps a good opportunity to pause for a moment beforehand and take a conscious breath.
