- Applications are submitted via the DAAD portal.
- Some programs require endorsement from University management. In such cases, we coordinate the signature process in the Executive University Board. Contact us!

- In most cases, a grant agreement is concluded with the DAAD. We coordinate the procedure for the signing of the agreement within the University Administration and on the part of the DAAD. Get in touch with us!
Project start

- set up a project account (Section 75: External-Funding Management).
- hire staff (HR).
- wrap up your DAAD project.
Good to know
- The project can begin as soon as the agreement has all the necessary signatures.
- In order to use the funds, you will need a project account (WBS element). All project-specific transactions are made from this account and recorded here—as are incoming funds, expenses, and costs.
- Section 75: External-Funding Management sets up the project account and makes the funds available to the project head.
- To best help you wrap up your DAAD project, the DAAD has to grant Section 75: External-Funding Management access to its portal for your project.
- The hiring procedure can take up to 6 weeks.
