The campus is not the only place to go if you need some academic guidance. You can also find information online about studying generally, specific programs, professional prospects and applying.

Since summer semester 2009, videos and podcasts from the lecture series Was wie wofür studieren? have been available at Lecture2Go, Universität Hamburg's main media platform.

Since winter semester 2006/2007, the Multimedia Kontor Hamburg has uploaded lectures from the lecture series Was wie wofür studieren? on pod campus. Since January 2010, these have been available at podcampus.de.

The Department of International Affairs at Universität Hamburg produces short films for prospective and exchange students with information about studying in Germany and reports from exchange students about studying at Universität Hamburg.
