The following institutions provide information and advice on various questions and topics.

• The Department of International Affairs (Study Abroad and PIASTA, Erasmus, and EUGLOH) and the University Language Center: learn more about studying abroad, Erasmus, intercultural skills, learning a language, and the international certificate
• The Department of Studies and Teaching  (the Center for Academic Advising, Quality Assurance and Academic Reform, and Student Support Campus Center) and the evaluation team from the Hamburg Centre for University Teaching and Learning (HUL): learn more about how studies are organized, and challenges and organizational matters (e.g., semester public transport pass)
• AIESEC (in German only): find opportunities for international volunteer projects
• AStA (student council): get involved in politics and committees at the University
• Hochschulsport Hamburg & Healthy Campus (in German only): from the gym to a wide range of courses to student health management—we've got your health covered!
• Internationale Jugendgemeinschaftsdienste e.V. (ijgd): find out about various volunteer services and projects.
• Junge Deutsche Gesellschaft der Vereinten Nationen Nord (Junge DGVN Nord) (in German only): learn more about events and opportunities to get involved
• Refugee Law Clinic Hamburg (in German only): find out about the student-initiated training program for providing voluntary legal advice to refugees
• Religious university communities (Catholic student community, Protestant student community and Islamic university community): network with others in different faith communities
• University Language Center
• The State and University Library Carl von Ossietzky and specialist/departmental libraries: get information on book and media lending 
• Equal Opportunities Office / Family Office and  Office for the concerns of students with disabilities and the Antidiscrimination Center: find support when studying with children, caregiving responsibilities, or health impairments as well as any form of discrimination during your studies
• stellenwerk (in German only) (including a job board with “jobs to go”): find jobs during and after your studies
• Stiftung der deutschen Wirtschaft (in German only): gain insight into funding opportunities
• Student research groups: see how students experience hands-on research
• German Academic Scholarship Foundation (in German only): gain insight into the funding opportunities
• Studierendenwerk Hamburg (Counselling Centre for Study Financing and Counselling Centre for Social and International Affairs): get advice on financing your studies (Bafög, etc.), housing, social issues (family responsibilities or impairments) and international affairs
• Sustainability Office / Green Office (in German only): learn more about sustainability, climate protection at the University and your options for student sustainability projects and events
• Project Coordination and Evaluation Team
• Knowledge Exchange Agency (Career and Qualification Center and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center): use the career and start-up advice service
• Central Examination Office for Teacher Training (ZPLA) (in German only): find out important information about your teacher training program
• Gender and Diversity Center (ZGD) (in German only): find out more and take advantage of the Gender Competence and Intersectionality and Diversity study certificates
