Cutoff thresholds for admission to majors courses and single-subject degrees

Cutoff thresholds for grades and waiting period

These overviews list the admission thresholds for the current admission period:

• cutoff thresholds for majors courses (bachelor’s degrees comprising a major and a minor subject) (PDF, in German only)
• cutoff thresholds for single-subject degrees (bachelor’s degrees without a minor subject) (PDF, in German only)

The values are divided into academic performance lists and waiting period lists. The columns show the respective cutoff thresholds—as grades for academic performance list and as half-years for the waiting period list—and the rank of the last applicants admitted on these lists.

Thresholds for non-EU applicants

If you do not have a German university-entrance qualification and are not an EU citizen, the relevant thresholds are listed in the overview of non-EU cutoff thresholds (PDF, in German only).
