Take part in the Reverse Advent Calendar campaign!

From 3 November to 2 December 2025, we will be collecting gifts at the University of Hamburg for Hamburg children in need aged 2 to 14.

It’s easy:

• New: Place your new unwrapped gift in an unsealed gift bag. You no longer need to label by age and gender.
• Hand in the bag to one of the 4 collection points by 12 noon on 2 December:
  • reception desk at Mittelweg 177
  • reception desk VMP 5 (Mon–Fri, 7 am–3 pm)
  • reception desk VMP 8 (Mon–Fri, 9 am–2 pm)
  • Campus Bahrenfeld, Room 015/Building 61 (Mon–Thu, 7 a,–2 pm, Fri, 7 am–1 pm).

We will take care of the rest, together with the Hamburger Tafel, who distributes the gifts to Hamburg children in need.

• Toys (stuffed animals, dolls, building blocks and play figure sets, toy cars, etc.)
• Sports accessories (balls with pump, skipping rope, football goalkeeper gloves size M)
• Electronics (power bank, headphones)
• Books
• Do not gift vouchers, drones, war toys, or violent games.
