The Carlo Schmid Program grants scholarships to students and recent graduates who wish to do internships with international organizations and EU institutions.

Funding for research internships for bachelor’s students in natural science and engineering.

UN internships
Master’s or bachelor’s students who are about to complete their degree can apply for an internship with the United Nations. These unpaid internships last between 2 and 6 months.
Applicants must be proficient in English or French.

IAESTE—paid and supervised internships all over the world
IAESTE finds internships for students in the following areas:
- the natural sciences
- engineering
- agriculture and forestry
Interns receive payment to cover their local costs of living.
The IAESTE committee for the host country provides housing and supervision.
This service is free for applicants.
For internships outside the EU, travel expense subsidies may be granted.

Funding for internships in Asia for young professionals or students in the final phase of their studies and applicants with a commercial or technical higher education degree. Target countries: China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
