Internationalization of the Humanities

This project explores internationalization strategies in the humanities with research on and analysis of internationalization concepts and their impact at the national and institutional level.

The project examines how the manifold linguistic and intercultural interpretation skills fostered in the humanities can contribute constructively to internationalization processes.

Analyses will focus on internationalization policies at universities in general as well as on internationalization strategies at the participating universities.

Special emphasis will be placed on international research communication and the organization of student, doctoral student, and staff exchanges.
