Bicycle-friendly University—bicycle mobility at the University of Hamburg
Biking at the University of Hamburg, when heading to lectures, into the office, or to the next meeting—bicycles are an environmentally friendly, healthy, and often the quickest way to get around in Hamburg. The University of Hamburg supports and encourages the use of bicycles for students and staff, in an effort to contribute to sustainable mobility, active movement, and healthy daily life.
There are numerous bike racks and stands around the campus. The University also offers a range of cycling-related services, including information on safe bike paths, and events on road safety and mobility consultations.
Whether for the daily journey to University or as a bit of exercise at the end of the day, bikes and cycling are just part of the University of Hamburg!
