State Research Funding Program
The state research funding program is a funding instrument of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg implemented by the Hamburg Ministry of Science, Research and Equal Opportunities. The aim is to support coordinated development of academic potential at Hamburg’s higher education institutions, foster academic strengths, and further cultivate and strengthen existing areas of potential. It is designed to provide targeted support for the strategic development of new core research areas and lead to increased competitiveness both regionally and internationally.
