- Systematic financial support measures for female academics with family obligations (e.g., childcare) as part of the Elisabeth Eisfeld Postdoctoral Program
+ Systematic support for female academics with family obligations based on individual agreement with superiors as follows:
- female academics with family obligations may be granted several hours of support from a student assistant;
- childcare for house events (in cooperation with the Studierendenwerk) may be agreed upon;
- (financial) support for childcare emergencies and/or in extenuating circumstances may be available.
- Within the framework of the DFG research unit Marketing of Hedonic Media Products in the Age of Digital Social Media, research associates may avail themselves of resources intended to make academic workplaces more family-friendly. In addition to career advancement measures there are various opportunities to promote the balance between family and academic career. These include family services (e.g., recommending childcare facilities, financing emergency childcare), childcare during events organized by the research unit, childcare during school breaks, or setting up an office at home. Furthermore, family-friendly stays abroad are organized for researchers within the framework of this DFG research unit.
