Hamburger Ferienpass (holiday activity pass for schoolchildren)
The Hamburger Ferienpass enables Hamburg school children to participate in numerous fun activities during summer and fall vacations. Varied and affordable activities for all ages are on offer, ranging from special sports events and theater projects to arts and craft classes, computer and language courses plus diverse regional outings and excursions. The Hamburger Ferienpass has been distributed throughout the Hamburg school system. It can also be downloaded from the homepage of the Office of Schooling and Professional Training (BSB) of the City of Hamburg (in German only).
University Sports at Universität Hamburg has a special sports program for children between the ages of 1 and roughly 11, with or without accompanying parents. The official website of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (in German only) presents a wide range of leisure activities and attractions in Hamburg such as theaters, museums and exhibitions, and sports. Also included are tips for nature trips and excursions for rainy days.
JIZ children's portal
The events calendar of the youth information center (in German only) (Jugendinformationszentrum, JIZ) informs about current events, for example, exhibitions, flea markets, cultural attractions, sights, and places of interest in and around Hamburg for families with children.
