New website: Equity and Diversity at the University of Hamburg

Excellence means more than cutting-edge research and outstanding teaching—it also thrives on equity, diversity, and a culture of recognition and openness. With its new website “Equity and Diversity” the University of Hamburg shows how these values shape its identity.

Our “ABC of EDI” illustrates the core principles that guide the University's approach to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI): Access, Belonging, and Community. For us, creating access, promoting belonging, and strengthening community means living a diverse and open academic culture as the badrock of academic excellence.

For the first time, the new website brings together the diverse activities, projects, and stakeholders who are committed to equity and diversity at our university and ensure that our guiding principles of access, belonging, and community are evident in everyday university life.
