Do you have questions about topics such as career orientation, job applications, or starting your career? We are happy to support you with personal advice. This service is available to students and graduates of the University of Hamburg and is free of charge.
Appointment booking or open career counseling.
You can either
- book an appointment in the calendar below or
- come to our open career counseling session at the Stabi on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (on the 2nd floor, Medialab / Workroom 2). Every last Wednesday of the month, the MIN för Hamburg team is there especially for you.

Where does the consultation take place?
On-site appointments take place around the Von-Melle-Park campus: either at our premises at Rothenbaumchaussee 19 (not barrier-free) or at the CampusCenter (Alsterterrasse 1, barrier-free access). We will inform you in good time by email where exactly your appointment will take place. Since summer 2025, we have also been offering open career counseling hours at the Stabi: every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (on the 2nd floor, Medialab / Workroom 2, no appointment necessary, barrier-free access).
Are you considering dropping out of your studies or changing your degree program?
Then the Campus-Center can give you better advice. The team will advise you on Thursday afternoons (Alsterterrasse 1, 3rd floor). You can also book an appointment there online. If required, you can find further advice services below.
