A New Approach To Sustainable International Networks

International cooperation projects, multilateral research, support for doctoral and early career researchers—with the Next Generation Partnerships, Universität Hamburg, along with strategic and other international partner institutions, is pursuing its goal of funding and establishing sustainable research-oriented networks.

Up until now, international cooperation had been essentially bilateral in nature. With the expansion to include multilateral alliances, synergies can be better exploited and scientific potential fully exhausted.  

The Next Generation Partnerships (NGPs) are part of the international performance area of Universität Hamburg’s Excellence Strategy funding application.
