AI 101 Or: Top Tools, and How to Use Them Optimally and Ethically

This one-hour remote course gives you an overview of the AI tools most likely to help you in communicative and creative endeavours, raises awareness for gender bias and other potential ethical pitfalls inherent to AI models, and teaches you how to optimize your prompts. An hour is an hour, so this course doesn’t claim nor does it aim to teach you everything there is to know about AI. Rather, we want to inspire you to use it ethically and efficiently and give you a few practical tips to get started (or better) at doing just that.
Method-wise we are aiming for the sweet spot between input, practical exercise, and interactive discussion. Think: science slam meets cooking course meets pub quiz. You’ll have to bring your own beverage though. Cheers!
