This event takes place in German.
The "Data Protection in Teaching" training course is specifically tailored to the needs and challenges of instructors. This event offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of data protection compliance in everyday teaching and to discuss practical case studies. The following topics will be covered in the workshop:
- Data protection in teaching: What does this mean for handling student data?
- Practical scenarios: From the use of digital tools to the transfer of personal data.
- Case study: Analysis and resolution of current, practical cases from your everyday teaching.
This training course is aimed at all employees and instructors at Hamburg universities who need support, particularly in their daily teaching. Basic knowledge of data protection is helpful, but not required.
To enable an intensive and interactive discussion of practical topics, the number of participants is limited to 25.
Schedule:
60 minutes: Technical content and practical instructions
30 minutes: Time for questions and inter-university exchange

All MMKH training courses are free of charge for employees of the University of Hamburg.
