This training provides an overview of:
- UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the German Sustainability Strategy: Universities' obligation to contribute to their implementation at the state level
- Regulatory requirements such as CSRD, LkSG, and CSDDD for transparency and sustainability reporting at Hamburg universities
Guidelines for aligning all university activities with the principles of sustainable development according to the Hamburg Higher Education Act (HmbHG)
- Promoting Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as a cross-cutting theme in teaching, research, and knowledge transfer, including the Hamburg Master Plan for ESD 2030
- Developing sustainability strategies with concrete goals, measures, and reporting obligations, such as those implemented at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) and the University of Hamburg
