Join us for a one-day workshop on Critical Whitness—a space to question how “whiteness” shapes everyday life, institutions, and knowledge production. Together we will explore key concepts, historical contexts, and contemporary manifestations of racialization and power. Expect interactive inputs, guided discussions, and practical reflections that invite you to think beyond assumptions. We will ask: How is “whiteness” constructed, protected, and normalized—especially in academic and societal settings? The workshop encourages critical self-reflection while also focusing on collective learning and respectful dialogue. Through case studies and group exercises, we will connect theory to lived experience and everyday practices.

 You do not need prior expertise—curiosity, openness, and willingness to engage are what matter most.

Our aim is to strengthen critical literacy and foster more conscious, inclusive ways of working together. Let’s challenge “neutrality” and examine how power operates—sometimes visibly, often invisibly. Come and learn, discuss, and leave with new questions, tools, and perspectives.
