In his 70-minute-long keynote address last November, Hamburg's first mayor Olaf Scholz professed his commitment to Hamburg as a center of science. University president Prof. Dr. Dieter Lenzen took the opportunity to probe a little deeper. During the discussion, Mr. Scholz emphasized the importance of science for the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and explained his expectations for the future.
