More and more bacteria are becoming resistant to antibiotics. A team of 15 students at Universität Hamburg has found an innovative alternative way to eliminate pathogens. Their idea was awarded a special prize for best presentation and a gold medal at the iGEM Competition Grand Jamboree 2023.

Hamburg Teaching Prize: Awards for 21 Teachers at Universität Hamburg

Every year, Hamburg’s education authorities award the teaching prize to especially outstanding teachers at Hamburg’s 6 public universities. On 7 July, the winners for 2022 and 2023 will be recognized at the city hall. There are 21 recipients from Universität Hamburg.
