MMKH-Workshop: Copyright and Data Protection in Online Teaching

This event takes place in German.

This online training offers a brief overview of copyright in the overall context of intellectual property rights, particularly with regard to the problem of barriers to making content accessible for teaching and research (Section 60a UrhG).

The focus of the online training, however, is the system of so-called “free licenses” within the framework of copyright law, using the example of the “Creative Commons” licensing model. This license model is explained in detail and with examples for use in a university context.

The online training does not require any prior knowledge of copyright and free licenses; it is aimed more at beginners.

Participants are invited to prepare their own questions/cases in advance and present them during the training.

The MMKH training courses are free of charge for employees of the University of Hamurg.
