The University of Hamburg addresses digitalization in studies and teaching in a differentiated manner. It pursues an integrative approach that understands digitalization as a component of teaching and learning scenarios. Digital tools and processes supplement and enrich face-to-face teaching and simplify the organization of studies.

Teaching staff and students are supported by decentralized and central support structures that develop offerings and create synergies within the cross-faculty DL Network.

The University of Hamburg has a university-wide cooperating network of institutions whose staff focus on digitalization in teaching (DL).

The goal of the network is to utilize individual competencies and create synergies.
