Starting in winter semester 2009/2010, the PIASTA Café will also be open during the day: Tuesday and Wednesdays from 10 am to 6 pm. The cafè is run by students at the University of Hamburg and students can talk about life in Hamburg and studying at the University over a drink or a snack. Students in all departments who would like to complete an a foreign internship of at least three months can now apply for subsidies from the LLP ERASMUS Mobility Program.
Starting in the winter semester 2009/2010, the Students' Center of Hamburg and the University of Hamburg will once again be offering "Hopikus/Intercultural Training". The training courses are available to students from all Hamburg universities. One of the training courses is aimed at employees of the Student Center and the University of Hamburg who are interested in exchanging and analyzing intercultural experience in daily work life. 
In this semester we are also offering students of all fields the opportunity to brush up on their foreign language skills and get into contact with students of different nationalities, for free! Students can also get lots of advice and tips on autonomic language learning. Grab this chance and register yourselves!
