What is it like to be a woman in a leadership role — and does this path align with one’s own aspirations? The Female Leadership Days offer the opportunity to reflect on these questions through direct exchange. Female leaders from a range of sectors (including the public sector, business, NGOs, foundations, and academia) are invited to share insights into their professional lives in a confidential and supportive setting.

Following a short introduction, four role models will speak about their career paths, discuss opportunities and challenges, and each present a practical case from their professional experience. Afterwards, there will be time for networking and a joint wrap-up session.
Topic of the seventh event:
Falling Down – Getting Back Up – Moving Forward! Obstacles on the Path to Leadership Positions
The event focuses on common challenges such as imposter feelings, balancing care work and career, and micropolitical dynamics. Following an input by Doris Cornils (researcher, coach, trainer, and author), these topics will be discussed together with the invited leaders.
When: Thursday, 12 February, 1:15 pm to 4:00 pm
Where: Knowledge Exchange Agency at UHH, 1st floor (Rothenbaumchaussee 19)
