DESCRIPTION:Nadia Blüthmann\n
Jeweils  10:00-17:15 Uhr  Ort und Raum werden noch bekannt gegeben\n
This workshop is designed for international academics seeking to enhance their teaching skills in the German academic context while incorporating global perspectives. It blends theoretical foundations with practical insights to foster a dynamic, learner-centered teaching environment. The workshop emphasizes open dialogue, encouraging participants to share their diverse teaching and learning experiences, address challenges, and explore solutions specific to their roles within the German higher education system. Additionally, it supports participants in defining their unique teaching profiles, equipping them to create and manage engaging, inclusive classrooms of any size. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:  • Justify a personal teaching philosophy aligned with their individual teaching style and personality. • Articulate key principles of major learning theories and their relevance to effective teaching in their respective contexts. • Identify and implement standards for creating pedagogically sound and effective course structures at macro, meso, and micro levels. • Align teaching methods, tools, and formats with specific learning objectives and contextual conditions. • Select and employ strategies and techniques to facilitate learner engagement and support diverse learning activities.  This workshop offers a valuable opportunity for international academics to reflect on their teaching practices, exchange ideas with peers, and build the skills necessary for success in a multicultural academic environment. \n
