Speicherstadt and HafenCity Tour – A Taste of the Big Wide World and the Largest Construction Site in Europe
The Speicherstadt, once a warehouse complex for coffee, cocoa, and spices, has become an inviting place to explore and relax. Cafés, museums, and world-famous attractions bring new life to the historic brick buildings. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the red city tells stories ranging from the pride of the merchant to political upheaval. The HafenCity is still under construction. Get up close and personal with Hamburg’s master plan for its newest city district. On this tour, you’ll experience modern architecture, old port basins, waterfront promenades, and the city’s newest landmark, the Elbphilharmonie.
