Virtual Mobility with eMobi@Dg2
Studying abroad without traveling?
Would you like to experience studying abroad without getting on a plane?
Would you like to get to know another partner university without travelling there?
Through various international cooperations, students of Universität Hamburg have the opportunity to attend one or more courses at partner universities abroad from their desks at home. Virtual mobility cannot replace physical mobility, but it is an international learning experience in virtual space and a useful complement to physical exchange.
The advantages of studying abroad – e.g. improving language skills, acquiring intercultural competence, knowledge of other teaching and learning formats, access to new learning content – can be combined flexibly with continuing your studies in Hamburg.
There are also other benefits to the virtual eMobi@Dg2 courses abroad:
- no additional costs
- you can still meet familial and other obligations in Hamburg
- recognition of completed coursework (in accordance with a learning agreement)
- wide range of courses from different universities in various languages
- flexibility with regard to course plans and scope of study
- easier, faster application process
The courses start depending on the partner university and are updated continuously during the semester. Remember to make note of the different time zones.
