The digitalization of teaching and research, along with the advent of artificial intelligence, raises complex legal questions. This workshop provides practical answers to the following key questions:\n
- Use of works in teaching (Section 60a UrhG): What materials may I make available on learning platforms such as Moodle or ILIAS, and to what extent (e.g., the 15% rule)? - Privileges for research (Section 60c UrhG): What expanded copying rights (up to 75%) apply to researchers and closed research groups?\n
- Hybrid teaching & data protection: How can lecture recordings and live streams be implemented in a legally compliant manner while respecting personal rights (e.g., through camera-free zones)?\n
Training sessions offered by the MMKH are free of charge for University of Hamburg staff.\n
