The University of Hamburg aims to design the Science City Campus as an open, transdisciplinary space and to strengthen public engagement in research and teaching. To support this endeavour, we maintain regular dialogue with planning committees, district management, neighbourhood initiatives, and the involved scientific institutions based in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld. This network serves as backbone infrastructure to identify collaboration opportunities, connect relevant stakeholders, facilitate shared use of resources, and promote co-creative research and social innovations for and with the local community.
