Advice for writing an application
Often, the first step in your professional life is writing an application to your future employer. When writing, you need to remember both the formal and the content requirements for applications. There are a lot of sources of information on this, including a broad range of specialist literature and special application-writing training courses and preparatory seminars.
The Career Center offers workshops for Universität Hamburg students and graduates who have completed their degree within the last two years. You can also use ourservice. These are designed to deal with the range of applications, such as speculative applications or applications in response to an advertised vacancy.

Borrow books: You can find books about applying for jobs in our Infopool and in the University libraries (State and University Library [Stabi], the Business and Economics Library, the Studies and Careers Center).
