Important note on enrollment documents: At Universität Hamburg your enrollment documents will not be checked for completeness and correctness in advance even if you hand in the documents personally. Please find all necessary information on the documents required for enrollment in our enrollment checklists. Please check your documents carefully using these checklists.
Documents which necessarily have to be submitted within the enrollment period are marked in color in the checklists.
You can submit the other documents later without jeopardizing your admission. However, handing in documents later may have the consequence that you will not receive your final semester documents (semester certificate, BAföG certificate, semester ticket) until after the beginning of the semester.

When sending by post, please make sure the address is correct. Unfortunately, mail often fails to reach us because it is erroneously addressed to "Alsterstraße" rather than "Alsterterrasse 1."
